The Ad Solution

The Ad Solution was founded in 1982 by Jeffrey A. Linowes in his parent's windowless basement. All he had were catalogs, adrenalin, determination, drive (today known as A.D.D) and a "dream". This "dream" included becoming a 24/7 marketing partner with his clients, motivating his clients towards better promotional initiatives, and sourcing the most creative products at the best value.

After Jeff and his "dream" quickly worked their way out of the basement they found it much easier to attract talented people to embrace the "dream" with them (the windows probably helped). The Ad Solution today has corporate headquarters in the Metro D.C. area (with a full service warehousing and fulfillment operation), and satellite offices in Seattle, and San Francisco. Many of the original staff members still believe in "the dream" and have surpassed their twenty year anniversary with our organization.

Since 2003, Jeff’s wife, Elyse, has work together at The Ad Solution. Over the last several years, Elyse has become more involved in the day to day operations of the business and Jeff has focused more on the sales aspects of The Ad Solution and began to explore some new potential business opportunities for the company. Accordingly, in January of 2007 to reflect these changes at The Ad Solution, Elyse became president and the majority stockholder in The Ad Solution and Jeff became the director of sales director, which will also free up some of his time and allow him to explore new potential business opportunities for The Ad Solution.

The Ad Solution’s corporate mantra is promotional products for life. This idea evolved as a response to our client's desire towards obtaining hip retail-oriented products/programs. We believe branded merchandise is not just for the office anymore, but for work, home and play… promotional products for life.
